Remove something from your knowledge

Your record is yours to correct, and what removal means on your plan.

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Your record is yours to correct. Open any piece in your knowledge and remove it there.

Removing a piece takes it out of your knowledge and out of any answer that would have cited it, immediately.

What happens after that follows your plan. On a personal kept, a removed piece can be restored for 30 days if you email support@kept.solutions, and after 30 days it is permanently deleted. In a business workspace, the work you capture for the workspace belongs to the workspace, so a removed piece is hidden from everyone rather than destroyed: it stays out of your knowledge and out of answers, and you or your workspace can ask us by email to restore it.

Removing hides a piece. If you want it gone for good in a business workspace, use a deletion request: see Ask for deletion in a business workspace.
